What we collect
- Account data: email, name, organization. Needed to log in.
- Product data: URLs you connect, content we crawl from those URLs, messaging you paste in.
- Platform tokens: OAuth tokens for the social platforms you connect. Encrypted at rest with per-organization keys.
- Usage data: feature usage, error logs, queue activity. Used for product improvement and support.
- Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see card numbers.
Public data we fetch on your behalf
The opportunity finder queries public endpoints to surface threads where your product might be useful. We read — never post — from these sources:
- Hacker News via the public Algolia search API. Only public stories and comments.
- Reddit via public subreddit JSON listings. Only posts already visible without login.
- Your connected RSS feeds — polled at the cadence you set.
We store a short excerpt and a link back to the original thread so you can decide whether to reply. We do not scrape private subreddits, DMs, or logged-in-only content. If a source blocks automated access, we stop fetching from it.
How we protect it
- Per-organization encryption keys, never shared across tenants.
- Master key stored on the VPS, never in source control.
- Audit log entry for every credential access.
- TLS in transit. AES-256 at rest.
- Token revocation deletes credentials within one hour.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. There is no data-broker pipeline.
- We do not train foundation models on your content.
- We do not share credentials with third parties.
- We do not run adtech pixels on logged-in pages.
Your rights
You can export all your data at any time from the Settings page. You can delete your account and all associated data with a single click. Deletion is permanent and runs within 24 hours. Data exports are machine-readable (JSON).
